COMMUNITY IN COMPUTER SCIENCE // Meet Madison Leblanc, a former Computer Science student & graduate of Southeastern’s College of Science and Technology. In her pursuit of a Computer Science degree, Madison faced various challenges. Despite setbacks, including a flooded home, the onset of the pandemic, and an unexpected appendicitis procedure - she found unwavering support upon transferring to SELU. Initially daunted by the male-dominated landscape, Madison soon felt at ease, realizing everyone started on equal footing. Throughout her academic journey, Southeastern became more than just a university - it became a home, offering support, lifelong friendships, and a sense of comfort amidst life’s trials.
