For thousands of years these peatlands have been absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, but are now threatened by human impact. // Now, through a five-year partnership, debeersofficial is joining National Geographic to help protect the source waters of the Okavango Delta, which is a lifeline for endangered species and more than a million people.
