I took this video at sararafoundation in northern Kenya's Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy. In the 1990s elephant populations here had been poached to near local extinction. Thanks to community-based conservation, elephants and other wildlife have made an extraordinary comeback. Today there are more than 8,700 elephants in the area, making it Kenya's second largest population of elephants! Nature is resilient when we give it a chance and make it a priority.
