Video by bertiegregory / A harp seal swims up a narrow ice crack in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, Quebec, Canada. In early spring, these seals travel south from their Arctic feeding grounds to give birth on ice floes. After giving birth, the females suckle their pups for just 10 to 14 days. They then head back north, leaving the pups to fend for themselves. Follow bertiegregory for more wildlife adventures.
