In loving memory of Barbara Chirico, a founding member of the Limousine Association of New Jersey. With a heavy heart, we share the news of Barbara’s passing on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the age of 80. As the owner of Gem Worldwide, Barbara was a trailblazer in our industry, launching Gem in 1976 and becoming one of the first women-owned enterprises in the field. Her legacy extended beyond her successful business to her dedicated service on the LANJ board of directors, where she served as a treasurer and received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Barabara’s impact reached national levels as she joined the board of the National Limousine Association in 1998, rising to the office of president in 2001 during the challenging aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Her warmth, generosity, and kindness touched everyone she encountered. Our deepest condolences go out to Barbara’s family, and may she rest in eternal peace. ❤️ #InMemoryOfBarbara #LANJFamily #IndustryLeader
