A baby orangutan, born in the wild last year in Borneo, represents the future for this critically endangered species. Filmed by timlaman in Indonesia's Gunung Palung National Park, which harbors one of the remaining wild orangutan populations, being studied by my wife, Nat Geo explorer Cheryl Knott, and her team. Follow SaveWildOrangutans to learn more about the conservation work they do to safeguard the wild orangutans of Borneo. Only wild-born orangutans have the chance to learn all that they need from their moms to survive in the forest. #orangutan #Borneo #Indonesia #endangeredspecies #GunungPalungNationalPark
