During my travels in Central Asia, I have been invited countless times into the homes of perfect strangers, just to have a bite, salty milk tea, a sweet, some fresh tomatoes… whatever was available. Those table displays were always so colorful, and I started doing a series of tablescapes: a simple shot from above of what I was offered.
