This #infection and resulting inflammation of the fetal membrane can have dangerous consequences during pregnancy, including premature labor and possible infection of the fetus. πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ¨ Emily is studying fine art and #biology at @CarnegieMellon. Recently her practice has addressed the bias and characteristics of scientific visual language, and the degree to which it is still recognizable while abstracted.
