On a recruiting tour recently and as I walked into the Savard Welcome Center (for those alumni who haven't been on campus, what used to be the bookstore) I saw a picture that caught my attention. A photograph from 1938 of the two lanes in the lower level of Alumni Hall where pin setting and ball returns were done by hand, not machine. Our iconic building on the Hilltop has truly been a "do it all" building since inception. So for those of you who are attending now and those who are visiting that you are and will have class where the old bowling lanes used to be on campus!
