On the windy day of December 30, 2021, the Marshall Grass Fire started near Superior, CO. With gusts of wind up to 115mph, the fire spread faster than anyone could've imagined. It ended up destroying almost a thousand buildings including homes and businesses. I was able to go down to the Rock Creek neighborhood today and see the damage for myself. It was surreal.
