Last night ASDU and PRIDE club and Penguins for Peace co-hosted an event to raise awareness about Sexual Assault focused on awareness of Sexual Assault and assumptions people@have about the LGBTQ+ community. With a student panel and speakers from the Center for Domestic Peace, this was an informative and moving night of awareness. Did you know that the life expectancy of an African American Trans person is 35 years old? How is this acceptable in our society?
