Get the 4-1-1 on #Crew4! 🚀 On April 20, four crew members are set launch to the International Space Station (ISS) from NASAKennedy aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket bearing the Crew Dragon capsule that the crew named “Freedom.” The Crew-4 mission will carry NASAAstronauts Kjell Lindgren (Astro_Kjell), Bob Hines (Astro_FarmerBob), and Jessica Watkins (Astro_Watkins), as well as EuropeanSpaceAgency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti. This is the fourth crewed-rotation of the Commercial Crew Program, a partnership with private companies to make safe, reliable, and cost-effective human transportation to and from the space station. This will be Watkins' and Hines' first trip to space and will be Lindgren’s and Cristoforetti’s second trip to space. They will conduct research and science that will improve life back on Earth, perform maintenance and spacewalks that keep the ISS safe, and serve on a team that inspires the next generation to do the impossible.
