La dolce vita 📸⁣ ⁣ Astro_Kimbrough captured this photo of southern Italy and Sicily looking out the windows of the cupola on the International Space Station (ISS). Sicily is the largest Mediterranean island and sits just off the ‘toe’ of Italy’s easily recognizable ‘boot’ shape.⁣ ⁣ Similar to the window that looks out to the neighborhood, the cupola lets crew members keep an eye on activities outside the ISS such as robotic activities, the approach of vehicles, and spacewalks.
