Success! 🚀🎉 SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon 2 spacecraft from NASAKennedy Space Center early Sunday morning, marking its 23rd cargo mission to the International Space Station (ISS). On Aug. 30, the spacecraft will arrive at the orbiting lab packed with more than 4,800 pounds (2,200 kilograms) of cargo. On station, the crew can look forward to a delivery of student-led experiments, assortments of cheese and ice cream, and new research projects. Orbiting approximately 250 miles above Earth, the space station laboratory is a multipurpose, one-of-a-kind facility enabling research and technology development in a microgravity environment.
