There it goes! Thirteen photographs assembled in sequence show the International Space Station (@ISS), with a crew of three onboard, pass in front of our view of the Sun while orbiting Earth at a speed of roughly five miles per second on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018. Each day, the station completes 16 orbits of our home planet as the crew lives and works aboard the station conducting important science and research. Their work will not only benefit life here on Earth, but will help us venture deeper into space than ever before.
