Octave Vinho Verde often has a slight carbonation to it, but not enough to be considered a sparkling wine. Octave is incredibly refreshing with crisp acidity that would taste great on a hot summer day; however, feel free to drink it year round! To be considered a Vinho Verde, Octave is permitted to use Alvarinho (Albariño), Arinto, Avesso, Azal, Batoca, Loureiro and Trajadura grapes.
