The Mexican government has lifted the ban on fishing in the Vaquita’s habitat. The Vaquita porpoise, also known as the “panda of the sea,” is the most endangered marine mammal in the world. The government’s decision effectively ensures that the remaining 10 or so porpoises will die in gillnets. How can you help?
