Last week, #Hawaii voted on a bill critical to ocean health and resiliency. I’m joining gabbardaloha global_wildlife_conservation and forthefishes in calling on GovHawaii to pass House Bill 553 so that Hawai’i can continue to be a leader in shark conservation by creating a sanctuary for sharks in state waters. As ambassadors of Aloha, Hawai'i is set to lead by example, to protect Hawai'i’s sacred sharks, and inspire the rest of the world to do the same.
