This adorable baby black rhino is evidence of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy’s (lewa_wildlife) success in protecting a species desperately threatened by poaching. There are now four hand-raised baby black rhinos in Lewa, all being carefully and lovingly guarded by rangers who love these little guys like their own children. The rhino are being handraised for different reasons — one is blind, another was orphaned after poachers killed his mother, and two others are born to a blind mother who abandons them after birth.
