William Rhoden is a writer-at-large for undefeatedespn . Prior to joining The Undefeated, he was an award-winning columnist for the nytimes from 1983 to 2016. In 2006, he published “Forty Million Dollar Slaves," a book on the racist history and current reality of professional sports in the United States.
