My moms starting to get mad at me because I haven’t posted any photos from Africa yet. So here we go. ~ ~ I spent the first two and a half weeks of this month in Uganda with a mission organization called African Children’s Mission. Before I get into posting some of the images from those couple weeks I want to say that I highly encourage everyone to spend a week or two in a third world/highly impoverished country. Don’t just visit. Really get to know the people there and try to understand the daily life they experience and struggles that they go through everyday. It will completely change your perspective and change your life. Believe me. ~ ~ Quick backstory for this image. We spent a few days in the Namuwongo slum in Kampala. While we were walking through one day this little girl just ran up and grabbed my hand and started walking with us.
