Posted withregram • broke_actor Monday morning musings... . . . Whenever my desk gets cluttered, there’s always this dichotomous feeling of frustration and happiness. The frustration comes from being a neat freak who likes things organized and being able to quickly and clearly know where anything is. However, as someone who is self-employed, a cluttered desk always reminds me of the Albert Einstein quote: “If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?” . . . The clutter may be frustrating, but when there’s clutter on my desk, it means there’s work, which means my mind is bouncing between scripts and shipping costs and contract drafts and completion deadlines, all of which reminds me that I’m blessed enough to be doing something that I love for a living.
