Truly, the way we talk about mental health matters. The more we talk about it and talk about the fact everyone has mental health, the more we can decrease the stigma surrounding poor mental health and/or mental illness. ⠀ ⠀ In our new Let’s Talk About Mental Health guide we highlight different ways to improve conversations about mental health.⠀ ⠀ The most important thing to note is that it is okay to talk about. It is okay to ask for help. It is strong even!!! ⠀ For those of us that do talk about mental health often, know there are best practices to follow such as using “died by suicide” rather than “committed suicide” (using the word committed is outdated as suicide is not a crime).⠀ ⠀ To learn more go to the link in our bio here on Instagram and enter your email to download “Let’s Talk”!! 🗣⠀ ⠀ #Resilience #ResilientToday #SuicidePrevention #SuicideAwareness #MentalHealth #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MentalHealthMonth #MentalHealthMatters #YouMatter #YouAreWorthy #ReduceTheStigma
