#TheChance World Tour: After standing out at The Chance global final in Barcelona last summer, the World Tour demanded that the players prove themselves all over again.
In Portland and L.A. the focus was on elite physiological conditioning and assessment. Before the squad left for Europe, a 4-3 victory over ussoccer U17s was a clear sign of the quality within the squad, a point reinforced by a 6-0 win against Juventus U19s in Turin. At Manchester United and St. George’s Park (England FA HQ) the players were exposed to some of the finest coaching Europe has to offer, including a session with England national team manager, Roy Hodgson.
The final match against The Nike Academy, a hard-fought 0-0 draw, was the players’ last chance to impress. On Saturday, defenders Marco Di Lauro (Itlay) and gonzalobalbi (Spain), and midfielder kevin_salazar10 (Colombia) were chosen the join The Nike Academy full-time.
