I didn’t know Ben Raemers, but like a lot of ageing skate nerds I felt like I did, and it was a shock to hear about his suicide a year ago today. At a time when many would be tempted to retreat, a group of those close to Ben formed The Ben Raemers Foundation, and I am blown away by their openness and determination to end the stigma.
