The first Star Wars movie released, known as Star Wars: Episode IV, came out on May 25, 1977. While it is a very popular movie franchise that still has a large fandom today, senior Noelle Corker has never seen a Star Wars movie. “I’ve never really been interested in science fiction movies, so I never bothered to watch something I know I won’t enjoy,” Corker said. There are a total of nine Star Wars movies in the series, each over two hours long. In total, it would take over 20 hours to watch every movie, not including the anthology movies or animations. “If I did choose to watch these movies, I would have to commit to all nine movies which would take a lot of time,” Corker said.
