On Oct. 27, the Lafayette volleyball beat Eureka in four sets in order to move on to the District Final game on Oct. 29 against Borgia at 6 p.m. The game will be a rematch and a chance for the team to avenge their only loss of the season. Senior Morgan Isenberg led the team against the Wildcats with 11 kills. Going into the rematch, Isenberg is confident about tomorrow’s game. “We had just come from a long winning streak and as a team that can tend to get to your head,” Isenberg said. “We had also been playing several games a week which can really take a toll on the body mentally and physically. We have grown stronger in both of those elements since then. Obviously, we have moved on from that loss and are ready to play them again, but we have learned from our mistakes that game and now know what we need to do to win.”
