Although students are not physically in school, there are still many updates around the building for when students return. In the main gym, new wall pads have been installed (moving the wall pads from the main gym to the back gym and replacing the yellow ones) along with a new sound system, video board, bleachers and graphic floors. Activities Director Jonathan Sumner has been involved in many of the big installations going on at Lafayette. “There are new scoreboards in the following places: back gym (one board), girls lacrosse, second baseball/softball field, grass soccer field and field hockey field,” Sumner said. On the shelf, there is to be a new curtain installed by this fall, along with a new washer and dryer installed in the training room. A new softball backstop has also been installed with a net surrounding the field. “We are also working on finalizing details for live streaming events this year for our community,” Sumner said. #SidelineReport #connectedlancer
