Year 11s experience taste of engineering studies. Bench Fitting, Mechanical Maintenance, CAD and health and safety were areas of focus during Burnley College Taster Programmes this week. These sessions inspire pupils as they prepare to make their post-GCSE choices. The pupils were given key insights into engineering courses, key skills in the industry such as filing, drilling and polishing metal and learning to dismantle cylinders and gearboxes.
