As part of the Year of the Themis Apprentice, over the next few weeks we’re going to be taking a closer look at the winners at the Themis Inspire and Achieve Awards 2022. Meet Nicola Donovan, of Whalley Pre-school, the winner of the Developing the Future Award. Nicola is a Level 3 Apprentice in Early Years Education, has impressed everyone with her dedication and passion towards educating young people. She has grown hugely in confidence throughout her training and plays an active role in life at Whalley Pre-school, where she ensures the safety and wellbeing of the children, working alongside a wide range of other professionals. She is currently working on a project to improve and enrich the experience for both children and parents, involving them in additional aspects of their education.
