✨ Word of the week starring Trooper and Alfie! ✨ This week, we're talking about spinal walking. alfie_the_ivdd_daxie has Stage 5 IVDD, the most advanced stage of Intervertebral Disc Disease. This condition caused Alfie to become paralyzed in his hind limbs and incontinent. With surgery, lots of rest, and physical therapy, Alfie has slowly been regaining his his ability to walk. His mom shared that his recovery has included a combination of spinal walking and voluntary walking as he regained some feeling after surgery.
