Juhani - Mechanical Assembler "I've been working at Raute soon for 46 years. I came to Raute in June 1972 straight after graduating from vocational school. At first, I worked as a Lathe Operator at Vesijärvenkatu, Lahti. Through the burr duties I transferred to work in my current position, as a Mechancial Assembler. In 1988, when the operation moved to Nastola I transferred here to assembling duties. My current task field includes guarantee and pre-commissioning repairs and sometimes fixing old machines. During the last few years I have also had the chance to mentor younger employees. Raute has always been a pretty secure place to work which is obviously a good thing. During the years it has been interesting to see how things have changed.
