Another one from my firefighter series. 8x10 and 4x5 tintypes of dcfd30. First time shooting 8x10 and first time using the Ed. Liesegang Janar Anastigmat 400mm f/4 projection lens. My thoughts…I should have done more testing. I assumed that the 8x10 tanks I bought required 1L of silver/fixer, but apparently 1L leaves about an inch of the plate not sensitized, so I guess Ill have to get more. Not a problem, but I should have realized it before the shoot. On the positive side, I love this lens. Tack sharp and nice falloff, at least to my eye. Looks beautiful on the 8x10, just have to practice nailing the focus on a live sitter.
