Rifat Rezowana Siddiqui (she/her/hers) Rifat is a 2019 Bangladeshi Fulbright grantee who completed her MA and BA from the Department of English of Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. While working as a teacher, she participated in several national and international conferences and published an article related to subaltern studies. She also carried out field work-based research in the area of minority studies and gender and sexuality studies. Apart from these, she wants to conduct research in Cultural Studies, Postcolonial Studies, and Digital Humanities. As a student in Bangladesh, she was an active member of several student organizations and through these organizations she volunteered for the development of her community.
