TRUE STORY..... Growing up in Sicily in the 1930s, Guiseppe Paternò had always wanted to get a university education. But, as with many of us, life just got in the way - poverty, war, and bringing up a family amongst them. However, in 2017, he enrolled at the University of Palermo to do a degree in philosophy. And two weeks ago he graduated with top honours. ⁠ ⁠ He is 96 and has become Italy's oldest graduate. He's quoted as saying that he has finally realised his dream.
