There’s a lot to potentially worry about at the moment, I know - your health, loved ones, your kids’ education, your business, your livelihood. Years ago, I read a book about your erroneous zones and how worry was one of them. Doesn’t matter how much you do it, it won’t help change anything. But, you and I know, it’s hard to not worry sometimes. So a little trick is to set aside five minutes each day to do NOTHING but worry. Set a timer. No positive thoughts allowed. Just worry. Give it a few days and you’ll see just how futile it is.
Worry and anxiety can become overwhelming, so try to have a plan in place or someone to talk to when those feelings come. What will you do to redirect your mind after those five minutes of worry are up?
