We’re all approaching this period in different ways.
Some of us are terrified, some of us are calmer and while not exactly happy are looking at what may come with positivity.
Fear of the unknown is a huge trigger for some. Over the last few days, my hubby and I have taken it in turns to panic and calm each other. Since we’re both freelancers, and work has dropped away, we’ve gone through our business and home accounts to see how things stand for the next few months; while not exactly brilliant, it has helped to put a plan in place and allowed us see things in a more positive light.
It’s easy to say “don’t worry” and “try not to panic” at this time and that’s not very helpful. What has been hugely helpful to me has been the ability to talk through my worries and fears with my partner without being judged, and likewise for him.
Here’s hoping you remain well at this time and are able to talk through your worries with someone. Let’s take this time to listen and support each other. .
