So I was a bit late to the party.
I didn't join Facebook until 2012! My daughter was born. My new mum friends were making arrangements via social media and I was missing out. So I decided, as an old friend commented, to "eventually join the 21st Century"! My older kids thought this was laughable and for a few years afterwards gave me plenty of "old people and Facebook" taunts.
My comeback: Don't laugh at me trying to navigate social media, I taught you how to use a spoon.
Fast forward six years, and despite starting late, I'm helping them set up their LinkedIn profiles and building a business in Social Media Management all thanks to digital learning and in particular
