So I was a bit late to the party. I didn't join Facebook until 2012! My daughter was born. My new mum friends were making arrangements via social media and I was missing out. So I decided, as an old friend commented, to "eventually join the 21st Century"! My older kids thought this was laughable and for a few years afterwards gave me plenty of "old people and Facebook" taunts.
