You thought I was going to say Valentines Day?⠀ ⠀ No. ⠀ ⠀ Started in 2012, International Book Giving Day is about sharing a love of books and is celebrated by people in over 44 countries.⠀ ⠀ Books are such treasured things. As a child, when you find a book you love, it begins a reading journey for life. So do join in with this day. Leave a book for a child to discover or donate to a charity. Local schools are usually on the lookout for donated books too. Or just go and buy yourself or someone else a book (maybe as a Valentine’s gift) and do support your local bookstores.
