We must stop comparing ourselves to others. We are all unique and, as I tell my daughter, the world would be a pretty dull place if we all led the same lives. It’s all too easy to look at others and feel we’re not doing as well as they are, or aren’t as good at our jobs, or just not managing life so well as our friends. People are fascinating but we’re not perfect. The wonderful Julian Fellowes said these very words on @lorraine last week and they rung true for me.
