Lavender and geranium are just two of the essential oils that can have beneficial effects on menopausal symptoms. LAVENDER is great for helping to induce sleep and has a very calming effect on the whole system. Great for headaches and migraines too. GERANIUM and ROSE GERANIUM is a very balancing oil for females and can help with stress relief and dry skin. Geranium is also amazing a deterring mosquitoes. Ever since I lived in Italy and realised why our terrace was covered in beautiful geraniums I’ve used it as a mozzie spray alternative. BASIL has been reported as helping with hot flushes while CITRUS has anti-inflammatory properties but do be careful with Citrus because it can make your skin sun-sensitive. A couple of drops of PEPPERMINT OIL can be inhaled directly from a tissue to help, again, with hot flashes and is great for improving concentration.
