So many people are put off trying yoga because of its image or associations.⠀
“I’m just not the yoga type”, said my husband until I finally dragged him and my daughter to a family yoga session run by Danniella Metson at
@mayurayogastudio. Now he’s hooked and wants to progress. Years of cycling and hunching over a desk have left him stiff and inflexible and unable to carry on with his love of running. He used to nag me for not doing enough cardio. I nagged him back for being so inflexible (physically, not in general. That’s a whole other story!). ⠀

Regular yoga leaves you feeling refreshed, re-energised and relaxed. The human body was built to have a wide range of motion and sadly, as we age, this mobility decreases because of external factors – life. A lot of us are sedentary for 96% of the day, and sitting is possibly the worst thing our bodies can do. It’s not too late to make a start on improving your mobility. ⠀
