I come from a long line of hoarders. I can confess to still holding on to toys from my childhood (thanks Toy Story 🙄) pretending that when my children came along they would enjoy them too. Mostly, though, they just found them creepy. I’m so bad at letting things go. (Yes, physically and mentally). I’m very much of the “but what if I need it someday” school. But, my little house is overflowing. We have too much stuff and not enough storage and not enough space to put any more storage. So, armed with my new found joy of decluttering, thanks to Marie Kondo on Netflix, I am gradually paring down what I have. And that experience in itself has been so freeing. It’s time consuming - especially when going through the sentimental stuff - but I feel mentally so much clearer. Now I have to make sure I don't buy anything else to replace the stuff I've got rid of. Still, this bag from
