25 years ago, #Madonna released her #Erotica album and #SexBook simultaneously. At the time, she enraged a nation. Our #American 'talk' of #equality and #freedomofspeech took a back seat to a mass of hate, over nothing more than a woman publicly sharing her sexual fantasies with the world. Where bands like Motley Crue were allowed to speak freely about the joys of strippers, and Prince was celebrated for telling us to 'Gett Off' and 'Cream', ( I might add, I thoroughly enjoy above mentioned artists), Madonna's beautiful album about love, heartache and acceptance was overlooked. It really is a fantastic body of work and its a shame that it didn't get the credit it deserved merely because she took her clothes off before it was cool. Oh wait...she made it cool!!
