Today we celebrate an American hero, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King’s message of faith and hope challenged our society to be far better, while his fortitude and passion for justice helped us continue to put the ignorance of the past behind us. His prudence and temperance brought us closer together as a people. Recently we asked a few GVCA students who their hero is, and as a testament to his character, Mollie chose Dr. King.
