It's National Chemistry Week, and today is Mole Day! Students in the Upper School celebrated last Friday with Periodic Table cupcakes and Avogadro’s guacaMOLE during lunch. Then, the newly formed Science Liaison, which plans events aimed at building enthusiasm for science, demonstrated the rapid decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into hydrogen and oxygen gas by introducing a potassium iodide catalyst.
