This 1964 Porsche 356 C 1600 SC Cabriolet was purchased by Janis Joplin in 1968. The custom decoration showcases portraits of band members, California landscapes, and astrological motifs and make up the iconic livery which Joplin called ‘The History of the Universe.’ A familiar sight around San Francisco, this served as Joplin’s everyday vehicle at the tail end of the 1960s. #TBT #PorschePerformance #ameliaislandconcours
