“Choosing to write our own story means getting uncomfortable; it’s choosing courage over comfort.” 💭 Decided to bring this quote back again as a steady reminder to why I chose to become a creator and even pursue the arts in the first place. That is, to write my story. To find beauty in what may seem mundane. To find connections with people through common experiences. To build a small community of understanding and freedom to express things in an artistic manner. To recognize that no feeling is too small, too big or invalid. No idea is too lame or unworthy if it means something to me. To create a space where I can be me and everyone else can bring their authentic selves to the table too.
