Mmmmm I can smell my morning coffee already and it’s a full night’s sleep away still... but I cannot wait. It calms me. Today was a day. First day officially unemployed and well, that’s a tough pill to swallow when I find validation in my work. But maybe that’s where the problem is and the universe is just deep diving right into the root cause - trying to shake me awake. Trying to get me to dig deeper and really work toward something I want to do without giving up when the challenges arise or when patience is required (your girl has zero patience... none). My best pal reminded me today of what was formerly my advice to her, which is, “We can do hard things.” I’ll just go sit over here and bite my tongue for a moment. I guess sometimes your own advice is there for the taking.
