This week I’m in Washington, DC 🇺🇸to take our fight to protect children and teens in congregate care to new levels. We are pushing for a federal bill that will give children in facilities across the country unprecedented protections and rights—the kind of rights I didn’t have as a child. Just like me, hundreds of thousands of survivors have endured a multitude of abuses while attending these schools and facilities, and it must end now. I will not stop until we see legislation across all 50 states and then throughout the world.
